Jesus, the Censor and SPCS are all C**TS
14 July 2008
Libertarianz spokesman Richard McGrath ripped into chief censor Bill Hastings today, saying his ban on the Cradle of Filth T-shirt is just the latest example of Nanny State poking its nose where it doesn't belong. He equates it with the 2006 banning of a T-shirt in two American states that read 'Bush Lied: They Died'.

"Bring on the Gridlock!" Says Libertarianz Leader
03 July 2008
Libertarian leader Bernard Darnton applauds New Zealand's truckers, who are leading the way in saying to this busybody government: "Naff off!"

National Lurching Back To Muldoonism
26 June 2008
"National's list of core values is a sham," said Libertarianz health spokesman Richard McGrath today, slamming his National Party counterpart, Tony Ryall, who last week said a National Government would refuse to lift existing price controls on the fees GPs can charge their patients. "They claim to champion individual freedom and choice, competitive enterprise and limited government. State controls on prices are none of the above."

PSA Propaganda Challenged
24 June 2008
"The PSA Tax survey has no scientific value and is instead an ill-disguised piece of Labour Party propaganda," said Libertarianz Finance Spokesman Nikolas Haden. "The scenario presented was to have larger tax cuts at the expense of public service spending. Yet this is not a trade-off New Zealanders need to make."

Greens in Bed with Foreign Multi-Nationals
17 June 2008
"It's appropriate that the cartoon symbol for a good idea is a light bulb," says Libertarianz Energy spokesman Peter Cresswell, "since the banning of incandescent light bulbs offers the visual symbol of a good idea crossed out -- in other words, of a very bad idea."

Emissions Trading Scheme Proves to be Trojan Horse
17 June 2008
“The Labour and Greens' Emissions Trading Scheme has now been revealed as having zero environmental value. It is instead an ill-disguised tax and wealth redistribution scheme,” said Libertarianz spokesman Colin Cross.

Change The Government to fix Violent Offending
17 June 2008
"The office of Prime Minister has been dragged to a new low," said Law and Order Spokesman Robert Palmer today. "Helen Clark has effectively blamed the victim Mr Navtej Singh for causing his own death, by running a legitimate licensed business."

Oil Price Inquiry Mere Grandstanding
16 June 2008
"Grandstanding! Nothing more than hypocritical grandstanding," is how Libertarianz Transport spokesman Michael Murphy described Commerce Minister Lianne Daiziel's recently announced inquiry into oil pricing.

Pay It Back, Winston!
16 June 2008
That's the call from Libertarianz Leader Bernard Darnton, commenting on New Zealand First's refusal to return $158,000 of Parliamentary Services money which was improperly spent on their 2005 election campaign.

Let Students Choose to Learn
16 June 2008
Libertarianz Education Spokesman Phil Howison today labeled a Government plan to halve the number of students allowed to leave school early an "arbitrary and unjustified gesture, which shows no respect for the individual needs of students". The number of 15-year-olds allowed to leave school each year to enter training or employment has already been cut from around 4000 to 2000, and the Ministry of Education plans to reduce this figure to 1000 in the next financial year.
